yeehaw, Eurostar ticket reductions ᯓ𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ 𓈈🇬🇧ೃ࿔⋆☕︎˖𓍢ִ♚

(writing those lines, I may be thinking about those other French guys we saw in St. Pancras complaining at 4:30AM this morning because the shuttle to the airport was running late and they were gonna miss their flight… you were there; train was an option…….)

14 March

City of Westminster

Weather was very good on the first day!!, so after a full English breakfast in Fitzrovia, we began our journey by just walking – down Oxford Street, and then in Kensington and Chelsea – super cute neighbourhoods there. <3

Arc de triomf

once again!!

Hyde Park

met all the wildlife (and people’s cute dogs everywhere awwWW and baby duckies awwwwWWWWWWW)

Battersea

Crossed the Albert Bridge and took a walk in Battersea. Discovered the Battersea Power Station I have never heard of before, despite it being the iconic Pink Floyd’s Animals album cover?? (as if by chance, saw a rainbow on the ground just next to it… #DarkSideOfTheMoon…). PS: this part of the trip is sponsored by Dr. Pepper who offered everyone (very mid) cream limited edition soda cans in front of the building – magnificent historical building which has now become a mall btw… :/

Now you may listen to Shine on You Crazy Diamond – one of my favorite tune from the band

On the Thames

Took the (Uber apparently :/ ? thought it would be a TfL) boat to reach the Tate faster (and just because Google Maps surprisingly pulled a route including it), super cool ride!

The Tate Modern

very great modern art and I am not sorry for dumping everything here <3

The City

Tottenham & some boomboom..

Took the Stansted Express at Liverpool Street Station to go listen to some loud gay music yipeee (very loud and gay indeed but so cool).

encountered a lonely creature on the way back! ✧°🦊 ⋆。

15 March

Camden Town

The market was so crowded (and full of scam boutiques…) but the place was lovely. also visited thrift (in fact charity) shops and then bought the essentials (baked beans and After Eight)

The bus!!!

yeeesssss we took an 1-hour-ride on a red double-decker bus!! ˚ ༘ 🚍⋆。˚ a dream come true

Design Museum

especially liked the display of electronic devices through history and a section about metro and road signage!!

and now the rain… ゚ ⋆ ゚ ☂︎ ⋆ ゚

grateful because it only started raining at the very end of our trip, so this is the moment we decided to drink tea and then eat fish and chips yummy (so British*)

*about that I am currently auctionning my British passport absolutely no border control agent, neither in France nor in the UK asked me for x) starting price 1£

🎵

while I was yapping here, arda was making some crazy art from his photos of the trip! check it out!!

You’ve (almost..) seen more of London in three days than we’ve seen in a lifetime; and we lived there!

    Brilliant photos – much love,
